What are Preserved Flowers?
These are real flowers being preserved in its original form, but chemically treated with a technology that maintains it’s fresh look and allowing them to retain that look for a good amount of time (6months- 2 years). This period of retention is also dependent of the environment this preserved flowers are kept in.
In other words, these are also real flowers.
What are Dried Flowers?
Dried flowers are real flowers that goes through the natural dehydration process, where all moisture of the flowers are removed.
Common methods that we use are via air drying – hanging the flowers upside down in a shady and well ventilated area. However do note, not all flowers can be dried.
How to care for your Dried/Preserved flowers?
Preserved flowers should be kept in a cool, dry room, away from bright sunlight, high humidity or high heat.

2. Keep away from high moisture areas (e.g bathroom)
3. Keep away from sunlight to slow down discoloration
4. Avoid touching the flowers, natural oils in our hands can damage the flower
How long does Preserved Flowers last?
The life span varies between 6 months- 1 year, as it’s dependent on the environment. Preserved blooms may fade in colour and wrinkle over time due to singapore’s humid climate.Most preserved and dry flowers are able to retain it’s look is due to the lack of humidity in the flower itself, however with Singapore’s hot and humid climate this is one reason why the flowers will decolorize over time and shrivel.
